Case 1

History of Presenting Illness/Situation

  • 2 year old male, was at daycare when there was a kitchen explosion. He was 1/5 children involved. Severity of her injuries are unclear.

EMS report

  • Patient was alert, crying, appears in pain. GCS 12 (no changes through transfer).
  • Initial vitals: HR 110, BP 100/60, RR 35-40, SpO2 96% on RA.
  • Burns over chest, arm, face
